MSI GF66
spec says 1x Type-C USB3.2 Gen1 which means 5Gbit port. There is no USB 10Gbit support on your laptop.
3.2 Gen1 -> 5Gbit (Same as 3.0 / 3.1 Gen1)
3.2 Gen2 -> 10Gbit
3.2 Gen2x2 -> 20Gbit
3.2 Gen1 -> 5Gbit (Same as 3.0 / 3.1 Gen1)
3.2 Gen2 -> 10Gbit
3.2 Gen2x2 -> 20Gbit

Alien Invader it can work but on the USB-C port but not sure it works in 10Gbps
in USB 3.2. Gen1 this is a bit tricky because not clear on the sites

Alien Invader Not easy to know exactly the possibilities of the 3.2 chipset (Gen 1 or Gen 1x1)?

If one thing is certain thats the crappy naming of USB after 3.0, they made it even worst now with USB4 just go ahead and check. As for the speed issue I think MSI on their website (
MSI GF66)
says it clearly that the laptop has only 5Gbit USB ports.
says it clearly that the laptop has only 5Gbit USB ports.
