My question is as a first time new SSD enclosure user with the SABRENT EC-SNVE which is Realtek RTL9210B-CG based, does anyone know if this or other RL9210B-CG based enclosures allow Samsung Magician to detect the SSD so Samsung's own SSD can be updated as I know in Device Manager, the drive shows up as Sabrent SSD SCSI Disk Device and Magician seems to see my Toshiba 1TB SSD currently inside the notebook but not the enclosure or the SSD in it. Thanks!

Hello everyone. I own a Kingston NV2 1tb ssd and an enclosure named DM HD1200. I tried to use it on USB port which supposedly supports 10gbps but when I start a speed test the reading speed immediately drops to 10 MB/s. I also tried to game on it but it freezes so much its almost impossible. I also have type c ports but they are already used by other things but I still connected the ssd and checked the speed and there was no issue when it was connected to there. I also have an OTG usb a to type c adapter that says it supports 10 gbps but no difference. I thought maybe it was firmware related so I updated my firmware but the problem still persists. Also, when updating I forgot to dump my configuration. I don't know if that's a problem but if it is can anyone share their configuration if they have the same enclosure? Thank you in advance.

Hi, try checking directly via the chipgenius utility what speed your case is running at to be sure it's 10Gb.
Otherwise, for the firmware, it depends if you see a change on the LED because the configuration allows the LED of the case name to work...

I downloaded all the configurations from the github of bensuperpc and started to try them and one ADATA SE800 configuration made the led work. So i guess it works now? Then I changed the name and some other things with realtek configuration. Also, I checked the speed from chipgenius and its the same as yours so I think the drive is not getting enough power from the usb port. I will have to use the type c port either way
