I ran this installer through my scanner, and the new version 10.1.20532.8842 is simply the older 10.1.20490.8818 with the Wildcat Lake platform INF files added—the same ones that first appeared in Dell's 10.1.20524.8822 release. Also, my Universal Updater already includes this version, but it's been slimmed down from 108 MB to just 11.5 MB. It's the same Intel installer, just without the .NET Framework 4.7.2 bloat.

However, there are new WHQL certifications and more recent ones for certain chipsets (see the download page).

However, there are new WHQL certifications and more recent ones for certain chipsets (see the download page).

You're right — I missed it, since I didn't check all 103 INF files, only the new 10.1.59.12 WildcatLake and 10.1.49.12 RaptorLake. So yes, a lot of INFs were updated, but my updater already covers them too and everything was correctly added to the new database . Actually better: for the RaptorLake platform, Intel moved the A77D device to EOL status while continuing to support the rest of the platform, and the latest Intel installers no longer ship an INF for HWID A77D — whereas my updater can install the latest EOL devices as well as the still-supported ones.

One more note: my INF release dates may differ slightly from the ones you quoted (from Intel), since I base them on the CAT file's generation timestamp.

Example:
Here: 10.1.59.12 WildcatLake (07/01/26)
Mine: 10.1.59.12 WildcatLake (21/03/26)

But given that Intel often doesn't disclose release info for various installers or INF files, my approach is actually more useful — it gives a full timeline view of when all possible INFs were actually generated.

Additionally, my updater uses a debloated version of the latest Intel installer — the identical package without the bundled .NET installer, so instead of downloading a 108MB installer, an 11.5MB one is enough.

I'll repeat, I don't understand why Intel bundles the .NET 4.7.2 installer when it can't even be installed on Windows 11, which already ships with version 4.8. Only very old Windows 10 builds would need it, and that's a tiny fraction of all systems — so they force everyone to download 100MB of extra, unnecessary data.

---

Feedback
Found this on the download page: "Officiel: non". This is misleading — it's an Intel-signed installer, just unpublished on Intel's official download center, not unofficial/modded. I've also come across NDA installers that are "official" too, but restricted to internal Intel use only. Suggest "Status: Official unpublished" instead.

I have to do it because some people prefer it when it's official (published on the Intel site); otherwise, they assume it might be a beta or some other non-finalized version.
